LibraryThis is a short list of books that I feel that you should read, along with this site, to get a full understanding of what it means to be a screenwriter. Some of the books included in the library are directed towards novel writing, but most of the wisdom in them are still applicable for screenwriters.

Some warningsDenny Martin Flynn: "How NOT to write a screenplay" (doesn´t go into detail of how to do it instead)Michael Halperin: "Writing the second act" (too shallow to be handy) Andrew Horton: "Laughing out loud - Writing the comedy-centered screenplay" (not funny, brings nothing new to the table) Margaret Mehring: "The screenplay" (too analytical and distanced to be useful, boring) Böcker på svenskaDet finns rätt lite material skrivet på svenska om att skriva, men här är några böcker i alla fall:
